Rodent Removal Across the Fort Worth Area
Contractors are dispatched throughout Tarrant County and into Parker, Johnson and Denton counties. Each place below has a page of its own, because the age of the houses, the trees over them and the nearest water all change the job.
- Tarrant County and beyond
- Historic districts and slab suburbs
- Same free inspection everywhere
The old city, the new edge and the towns between
The pre-1949 neighborhoods and the post-1990 subdivisions produce different inspections. In Fairmount, Ryan Place, Crestwood and Arlington Heights the pressure comes from live oaks and pecans over pier-and-beam houses with open crawl spaces and porch rooflines that were never closed. Around Alliance in the far north and along the Chisholm Trail Parkway in the southwest, the houses are brick-veneer slab construction with ridge vents, builder soffits and garage seals, and the pasture they were built on is still being cleared around them.
The towns each have their own profile. Arlington, Hurst, Euless, Bedford and North Richland Hills filled in during the 1950s through the 1980s with ranch houses whose roofs have been replaced more than once. Keller, Southlake, Colleyville and Grapevine sit in the post oak woods of the Cross Timbers near Grapevine Lake. Benbrook has a lake and the Clear Fork, Haltom City has Big Fossil Creek, Burleson and Mansfield are growing across old farmland, and Weatherford is ranch country in Parker County. The Trinity River and its creeks tie the whole map together as the travel lanes Norway rats use. The service pages cover the work itself; these pages cover the streets it happens on. The two services most of these areas ask for are roof rat removal and rodent exclusion.
Neighborhood and town pages
Each page is grounded in what is known about that place: the age and construction of the houses, the canopy, and how close the river, a lake or open pasture is.
